Diigo

The Diigo program was a new idea for me.  I was a person who had all of my sites saved on all of my different computers and would lose them when the computer would die (like my personal one did on Sunday).  Then I have to spend a lot of time trying to find all of my "favorite" sites again.  I really like the idea of being able to access these sites from any computer as well as being able to share these sites with my teammates at school.  My team and I always discuss how we can "Work smarter not harder" and I feel that this is a perfect example.  I believe I can also use this as a tool in the classroom for my students.  Since I teach 3rd grade, I would not have each students get their own personal account at this time, but I would like to get a class account where we could keep track of some sites that we would use daily or weekly and could add to.  Please feel free to clink on the following link to check out some of the sites (the ones I remembered...) and the lists that I have made.  I have also started a group, so hopefully we can all continue to help one another even after this class is over!
